The cot is cushioned, has mesh sides that allow for more the airflow, and the mattress is made of high-density, foam for added protection. It's also wipeable to keep it clean, and it is fitted with a sheet that's suitable for the cot. In contrast to other cribs for bedside use like the Roomie Glide is suitable for most beds, including divans, thanks to its straps and clip attachment. It can also be used as a stand-alone crib even when it's not connected to the bed. It is packed with wonderful features that were designed with baby and parent bonding in mind. One thing to keep in mind is that even though this crib is ideal for babies, it won't last long once your child is six months old, and you'll have to purchase a bigger cot. We love that it's constructed from soft materials with breathable mesh sides that promote airflow and ease of use. It comes in charcoal or oak with a variety of melange fabrics that can be incorporated with a variety of styles. Anna discovered that it was sturdy and secure once attached to her bed. The legs slid into place and the zippers were secure to ensure security. It took her about 10 minutes to assemble and did not require tools, and comes with clear instructions and a video or customer support number if you have any issues. As well as the usual features you'd expect from a bedside crib that include the ability to connect to your existing bed with a stay-in-place connector system and six levels of height, the CoZee has an additional incline option that can be used to alleviate reflux or congestion in babies. It can also be washed by a machine – a must for all the dribbles and vomit that can be found in a newborn baby! If you're looking to keep your baby close to you during the first six months when they're able to go to sleep on their own, the CoZee is a great option because it can be used as a separate cot, changing table or toddler bed. It can also be transformed into a sofa bed with the addition of an extension pack. And while it won't feed your baby or magically make them sleep it will rock them to send them off! The Chicco Next2Me Magic This is one of the more expensive options. However, it comes with many excellent features. It can be used either a side-sleeper, or a standalone crib that is suitable for infants ranging from birth to six months. It is easy to open and close the side panel with a new mechanism. It is also more adjustable than its predecessor, having 11 different height settings as well as legs that retract to installation underneath any bed. Our testers appreciated the ease of access provided by the side panel that can be moved up and downwards with just a single push of a switch. This was a huge benefit during night time feeds, as it meant they could easily reach inside and take their baby away without waking them. It is possible to lower the side panel by itself but this is not recommended, because it increases the chance that your child will get out of the cot. The safety locking system makes sure that the side panel will only remain in place when it is properly attached to the parent's mattress. This feature is great to have peace of mind when you breastfeed and require frequent feedings at night. Telescopic legs allow the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, such as divan bases as well as beds with drawers. It also has a tilting function for babies with reflux and a rocking mode to help them sleep after eating. It's also incredibly spacious and provides great ventilation due to its mesh sides. It's ideal for feeding at night and fostering a bond with your infant. The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, unlike some other cribs. Its dual-view mesh sides as well as breathable, hypo-allergenic airflow mattress increase airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. The gentle slope helps alleviate colic and reflux.
